How is Little issuing E-vouchers?
In our efforts to go cashless, we are providing each participating shop at Sarit Centre with tablets that have been modified to issue out e-vouchers. When a customer pays for their products/services, they will be requested to provide their phone numbers which will be imputed in the tablet and the purchase value.
The customer will then receive an SMS informing them that the voucher value has been credited to their Little wallet. If the customer does not have the Little wallet, an SMS will be sent to them requesting them to download the app and the money will be automatically credited to their Little wallet.
How can a customer redeem the Little voucher?
- Step 1: Open your Little app
- Step 2: Click on Pay Merchants
- Step 3: Input the merchant code or scan the QR code.
- Step 4: Add amount
- Step 5: Click “Pay” and the participating restaurant will be notified of your payment to them.
*(If the purchase at the participating restaurant is above the e-voucher value, you are able to top up your Little Wallet via MPESA within the Little app, without having to switch to your MPESA toolkit.)
*Click on ‘Wallet’ to view your voucher amount and the allocated redeemable category (rides, food, pay merchants, etc)
What’s a Little wallet?
A digital wallet that allows you to pay for various services or products, within your Little app. We have integrated with various banks and MPESA to allow customers to pay using the Little app, without having to switch between the mobile banking app or MPESA toolkit. Customers can pay merchants directly from their Little app, provided the merchant accepts Little wallet payments. When a customer goes to any participating restaurant within the mall, they can pay using their Little wallet.
